What is your usual breakfast? I do scrambled eggs, sourdough with cottage cheese and a berry on top. I also add honey but maybe you can skip if it triggers your reading

Out of curiosity, what level did you get? I got a 8.2 and no one contacted me… I’ve been emailing my midwife to see what are next steps but nothing so far

Also, was your fasting reading elevated in the first place- in which case you post breakfast reading may be increase due to this xx

My fasting levels have been perfect 4.6-4.7 the whole time, I had stuck to my normal breakfast of weetabix with honey which I seemed to be coping fine with but last two days was 8.4 and then 9.6 today after breakfast. I’ll try an egg based breakfast tomorrow see if that makes a difference

Ahh okay- I have the fasting reading issue.

I really spiked with weetabix. You probs could do with adding some protein to ‘dress the carbs’ eg add some nut or peanut butter- may sounds a bit funny but may taste good. Add some chia seeds and flax seeds.
You’re adding honey which will add more fast carbs- maybe low GI fruit such as berries would be a good option to add some sweetness.
Like you’ve said give some different breakfast a go and experiment what gives you better readings xx good luck!

2 Eggs and wholemeal toast was my go to xx
