£32k fully remote very easy admin role but very boring
£43k entry level project manager job at same company. 2 days a month in London (this will cost me £50 from Buckinghamshire).

I'd expect the company to pay for your travel to London since it's not your usual place of work.

I'd take the 2nd job. There may be more scope for development. You're also circa £650 better off a month.
So my usual place of work is the Milton Keynes office but I work remotely. This would be the London office so they wouldn't pay expenses

Even if they wouldn't pay expenses, I'd definitely take the PM job, entry level for that salary is good and 2 days travel per month isn't excessive. It will give you more opportunities in the future!

A commute into London from Bucks could be anywhere from 45min to 2+hrs. For me, it’s not about the money at all. It’s about whether I’m willing to commute and how many trains/buses that journey would require. For example, any more than one change on the tube and I’m out. But I grew up at the end of the Met Line so…
But yeah, don’t think about the money (if you think about the money it’s a no brainer). Think about if you’re willing to do the commute - what time do you have to get up? What time will you get home? Etc.

I personally couldn’t think of anything worse than working remotely. I really don’t get the big attraction of it but appreciate it works for some people. 2 days a month to london is nothing and you could make the most of it by combining it with something for yourself while you are there to make it more worthwhile to you. Also probably better progression long term and not as boring

I love working remotely and would easily pick that option. 2 days a month doesn't sound like a lot, but that commute sounds like a bitch😅
I'm tempted to ask if I could work 1 day in the MK office and 1 day in London a month. Would save me a lot of faff!!
