Can someone please help.
Does anyone know the difference between public housing and section 8? I’m thinking of applying but not sure which one is a better option. I’m living temporarily with my mom and my son requires his own space especially when he needs to self regulate. (He’s on the autism spectrum so he needs a lot of to self soothe himself)

I signed up for section 8 back in 2006 and years went by and I was never contacted for an apartment. In 2010 I asked how much more I would be waiting and they couldn't give me a guess. This was in Mass, hopefully you have better luck!
By any chance do you know if there’s a different between the two?
