Hi! So im having a bit of an issue. I live in a townhome apartment complex which consists of 9 separate apartments. I live in the apartment marked blue, and as u can see there is no one to my right so there wouldnt be any reason for someone to be on that side of my home, especially because the purple marking is a 10+ foot fence that separates the complex from the street. I noticed this last week my ring camera has been going off at random hours of the night and I noticed a grown man walking from that very side of my house. One of the other days he was laying to the left of my garage (yellow marking). I know my neighbors and its not them. Either way... why would my neighbor be sleeping on the side of my apartment? Anyways, This makes me worried because i have two babies under two so i called the non emergency dispatch to see if they could have him leave because im too afraid to do it myself. They came by, checked the area out and then called me a little after and confirmed someone was sleeping/staying there but that its not a crime and theres nothing they can do.... im sorry? does this seem right?? Im concerned for my safety but i guess i might have to get attacked before they can take it seriously?

Have you talked to your landlord? They most likely have to be the one to call and report it as trespassing because they own the property.
No advice. Just sympathy. They are absolutely horrible about it here. They won’t do anything about it.
Redlands has homeless literally everywhere, it’s not the best area. If he’s not bothering you then I don’t see why you would need to be so worried about the homeless person
