My area applications aren’t till November but I can’t believe we’re at the this stage already 😩

Seriously!! 😭 We have 4 in walking distance and none of them have released their open day schedules yet, so going to wait on the application until we have a chance to see them all. Can’t believe how quickly it’s gone

I believe they open the application early, so children have a much better chance of getting a space for their child if their child already attends the school. Then they have another date for children outside of the school. I applied for my son's nursery early when he first started at his school. Now, he is going to the reception, which runs for the full day on Thursday. I did apply one day after the deadline because I was going to move, but I had a change of plans. Some kids do end up not getting a space due to how far they live, according to what I heard.
