Motion sickness / ear pressure issue?

Hiya,
I recently traveled alone with my daughter by plane and on both the way there and way back, she vomited at landing (i think can deal with any challenges after this experience 😅). I believe it’s either motion sickness or else she doesn’t know how to handle ear pressure when flying.
Anyone has ever gone through this? Any tips on how to make her less nauseous/avoid a similar scenario (it wasn’t fun 😅)?
PS: she’s 21 months old and previously never had any issues with flying.

My little girl is a similar age and I can imagine how stressful that must’ve been flying alone 😭🤍 If it’s mainly happening on landing, I’d wonder if the pressure change is contributing as well as motion sickness. Next time I’d try offering a drink, dummy or little snack during descent so she’s swallowing regularly, keep meals fairly light beforehand and use the overhead air vent if she starts getting hot/nauseous. I’d also ask her pediatrician/pharmacist before giving any travel-sickness medicine at her age. Hopefully it was just one of those phases because toddlers love keeping us on our toes 😂❤️
