Flying with baby internationally
Has anyone ever done a long haul flight with a 3 months old baby. I’m meant to travel from UK to the USA (7 hours), with my baby who would be 3 months and I’m getting a bit scared about whether or not the pressure and loud noise will harm her. Anyone ever did a long haul flight like this.

I’d definitely be nervous too, but from everything I’ve read, flying is generally fine for a healthy 3-month-old 🤍 The pressure change can make their ears uncomfortable, but feeding, a dummy or anything that gets them swallowing during take-off and landing can really help. The cabin noise itself shouldn’t harm her, although some parents use baby ear defenders if it makes them feel better. For a 7-hour flight I’d mainly focus on having plenty of feeds, nappies, spare outfits and asking the airline about a bassinet seat if they offer one. If she was premature or has any heart, lung or ear issues, I’d just check with her doctor first for reassurance 🥰
