Biracial Hair

Hey! So my daughter is biracial, her daddy is black. She’s 2.5 she’ll be 3 in December and honestly I’m having a rough go of it with her hair. I try my best to do protective styles that last but none of them do. My step mom’s best friend is trying to help guide me (she’s African American) and has done her hair for me (it lasted all of a week lol). I’m just honestly in search of more consistent guidance as we only see my parents once a month if we’re lucky. Maybe make a friend nearby who could possibly hang out and give me more tips. Feel free to shoot me a message if you’re willing 😅

At that age a week is all you can ask for hair lasting. Once she older you can do style that last months but only easy style like twist would be best for a 2 year old. Are you having trouble finding hair style to that you can do? Or hairstyles to last longer.

Find a "natural" or "curly hair" hairstylist and go to her or him. That's the best help I've gotten in figuring out my own curls.
