Cluster feeding

Please tell me I am not the only one in the cluster feeding trenches?! My little boy who was 8 wks on Saturday is wanting to be on my boob 24/7. He’ll eat for 5 mins, fall asleep, then wake up after 15 mins and start shrieking for more food. This is happening in the day and I never thought I’d say it but I just want to run the hoover round. I’ve started giving him a bottle every now and then to give myself a break, but then he’s just asleep on me afterwards. I’m getting concerned he’s not getting enough milk from me, but he’s only taking 30ml of the bottle anyway so it’s not like he’s gulping it down.

I’m having the same experience at 10 weeks. This also happened with my first daughter so I think it’s completely normal and is just a phase, they’re having a growth spurt

I am also having lots of cluster feeding as well at certain times during the day. Like every hour and a half..she is 10 weeks.

Same for me 10 weeks too. There are better and worse days. Also massive 1-1.5h cluster feeding slot in the evening which I hate (second kid and I have a toddler who is back home after preschool and I just feel like a bedroom prisoner lol). Will try bottle at bed time after a couple of rounds on each breast to see if she settles faster 🤷🏻‍♀️ but some babies just love comfort sucking exhausting as it is

Same here at 8 weeks! My LO just slept on me all evening with the boob in her mouth last night and woke up whenever it came out

I’m going through this too! My little boy is 7 weeks. He mainly used to cluster feed in the evenings but we’ve had a few days of it being most the day. He only seems happy when he’s on the boob or at least in my arms. Our mornings start well but it goes down hill as the day goes on 🥴😂 we’ve just introduced a bottle too that my partner gives him and he also only takes 30-40ml and then wants more from me. All sounds very normal looking at what others have said. You got this x

13 month old moody

Am I the only one? My little girl is 12 months next week and she’s just so moody. She does smile and laugh ect but most of the time she’s throwing herself around, having tantrums won’t let me change her won’t let me dress her. I feel like giving up sometimes 😩 does this phase ever end? Am I doing something wrong? Is there any advice?

Bottle washing

What dish soap are you using for washing your bottles? Was using NUK dish soap but went through that in no time. Fairy is making it smell so soapy, and I can’t find anything that’s unscented!

Losing friends after giving birth

I just want a rant really I think and to see if anyone else has had it. Prior to being pregnant/giving birth I had a best friend of 16 years. I was there for the birth of her first child and picked her next two children up from the hospital when they had been born. I’ve been super active in hers and their lives since to the point where I am referred to as auntie. Her eldest will text me to catch up and we had a lovely friendship. But since becoming pregnant she’s not really been there and since giving birth she’s not checked in at all. The one person who I thought would check in has effectively taken a huge step back and as much as I want to confront her about it I don’t want it to turn into a fight unnecessarily. I’m just so disappointed in her and it makes me feel like she was only friends with me as I was useful to her and now I’ve got my own family to take care of she’s fucked off out the picture. I just don’t know what to do about it all - it’s been almost 10 weeks now and she’s reached out maybe twice to ask how we are doing and other than that it’s either been to post about her kids or responding to birthday messages.

Size 2 nappies

My LB will be 5 weeks tomorrow and he currently weights about 10lb 6oz, but he is quite a long baby & we’ve just had to size up to Pampers size 2 from 1; it felt like they weren’t fitting right around his hips and kept leaking! Has anyone else reached size 2 around this age? X
