My best friend in the whole world is spotting at 10 weeks. Can you share your spotting stories so I can show them it doesn't have to be something scary? I remember how panicked I was when I spotted during my first trimester

I had spotting in the first trimester and totally get how worrying it is! I did phone the midwives about it because I was a bit anxious but they weren't concerned at all. I'm now 31 weeks and baby is healthy! If she's concerned, call the midwives. Even if it's just for peace of mind to be told everything is ok!

If you she is worried ring triage they might get her in for an early scan.I had spotting around 10 weeks went for my confirmation appointment and they dated me further than i was which they sent me for my confirmation ultrasound was only 10 weeks and they found a small area of hemorrhage. Which was a little scary. I was given some tables and came back two weeks later had all clear up on its own baby is 18 months now.

I spotted during both my pregnancies and both are healthy toddlers now. I still got checked by my obgyn though.

I spotted too and bled a good amount right away and everything was fine! Have a healthy happy 20 month old!

With my first born i didn’t spot at all nor did I have discharge. This pregnancy I have lots of “normal discharge” and I’ve had on and off spotting. I’m currently 16 weeks pregnant and found out at 4 weeks. Just had my appointment today and baby is healthy and everything looks good so far. I even passed a small pea sized blood clot around 10 weeks but I got in the next day for an ultrasound and every was good. But check in with ob just incase!
Surprise pregnancy! I have a 5 month old, and I've just found out I'm pregnant. 1 year and 1 month age gap. Has anybody got any advice or recommendations going forward? Double prams? etc

Anyone else a little bit disappointed with how the 6 weeks check up went ?
I had mine yesterday and my dr literally asked me “are you okay”, “will you be taking any contraceptives” and “have you started your period yet” concerning me. Didn’t ask to see my stitches, was very rushed, when I would say anything she would just sort of shut me off before I could finish what I was saying. I would have expected there to be a more check to see how I was doing, ask to check stitches, even give leaflets of information if needed. Didn’t even say if I was now able to have sex ect. Didn’t even ask if I had any questions for her, it was just like as if she was running late for the next person. I know it might seem like I’m moaning about nothing but I’m also thinking of other mums and how this could of felt for others to with the sense of not everyone will say if there not okay and would think that follow up information on postnatal care would also be there

Anyone else had high pressure since giving birth?
I've had high blood pressure since a few days before giving birth and it hasn't come down despite delivering the baby.
I was admitted back into hospital at the weekend as it was dangerously high. I was given medication and monitored and it stabilised so was allowed home the next day.
Since then I have to monitor at home and it's still high, and getting very close to the threshold they gave me for going back into hospital 😭
They don't know what's causing it and I'm getting fed up now. Going back into hospital with baby and leaving my toddler at home is horrible 😢
