Anyone else had high pressure since giving birth?
I've had high blood pressure since a few days before giving birth and it hasn't come down despite delivering the baby.
I was admitted back into hospital at the weekend as it was dangerously high. I was given medication and monitored and it stabilised so was allowed home the next day.
Since then I have to monitor at home and it's still high, and getting very close to the threshold they gave me for going back into hospital š
They don't know what's causing it and I'm getting fed up now. Going back into hospital with baby and leaving my toddler at home is horrible š¢

This was me š¬ be been in hospital for 5 days after giving birth.

I was the same, ended up in hospital day 5 pp for 2 night then came home and had to go back in the day after when midwife did a home visit due to my bp but I was on med for my bp till about 2 weeks pp. It took 3 different brand of tablets before they finally got one that worked for me. If your concerned speak to your midwife or triage unit and see if they can take a look at your tablets
Surprise pregnancy! I have a 5 month old, and I've just found out I'm pregnant. 1 year and 1 month age gap. Has anybody got any advice or recommendations going forward? Double prams? etc

My best friend in the whole world is spotting at 10 weeks. Can you share your spotting stories so I can show them it doesn't have to be something scary? I remember how panicked I was when I spotted during my first trimester

Anyone else a little bit disappointed with how the 6 weeks check up went ?
I had mine yesterday and my dr literally asked me āare you okayā, āwill you be taking any contraceptivesā and āhave you started your period yetā concerning me. Didnāt ask to see my stitches, was very rushed, when I would say anything she would just sort of shut me off before I could finish what I was saying. I would have expected there to be a more check to see how I was doing, ask to check stitches, even give leaflets of information if needed. Didnāt even say if I was now able to have sex ect. Didnāt even ask if I had any questions for her, it was just like as if she was running late for the next person. I know it might seem like Iām moaning about nothing but Iām also thinking of other mums and how this could of felt for others to with the sense of not everyone will say if there not okay and would think that follow up information on postnatal care would also be there
