Having Anxiety

I found out a few days ago that I’m pregnant. I’m ecstatic about it and excited to finally be on this journey. My husband and I have been trying for 2 years. Now that it’s happening, I keep feeling anxious that it’s not actually happening…you know? Like the 3 tests I’ve taken and were all positive were all fake positives or something. Has anyone else felt like that? I’m 4 1/2 weeks right now and I know it’s very early. I guess I’m just anxious that I’m imaging it all.

After doing years of fertility, TOTALLY normal. I was exactly the same. Congrats!

Sharing a success story bc I also tried for two years—my little guy is now 5 weeks old! I never got anything remotely like a positive test until I got pregnant with him. It’s really normal to have anxiety when you’ve struggled to get pregnant.

I got told I could never have my own kids so when I fell pregnant I believed the whole pregnancy that it would get taken from me. I constantly thought I was going to misscarry. Then when I became full term I felt like I was going to have a still born. I think it comes from years of convincing yourself that it won’t ever happen, so your brain is now wired to not see a baby in the picture. Now sitting here at 3am with my gorgeous healthy 6 week old girl. You will be absolutely fine, wishing you lots of love & a healthy pregnancy xxx

Anxiety is hiiiigh

I’m 32 weeks first time mom and all I can do is think about how it will be after I have my baby. It’s surreal because i never thought I would have a baby….now I’m close to the finish line and can’t stop thinking about every little thing. Plus I’m nervous about labor. I don’t sleep that much at night because I’m up thinking too much. Help 😑😭

Body embarrassment 😭

I am super conscious and embarrassed by my belly shape.

I'm 33+2 weeks with twins, and I'm fine with my actual bump which is the high bit, and actually considered small for twins, but I have the biggest 'pouch' or 'overhang' belly underneath.

For context, I was a size 8 before pregnancy, but have previously been upto an 18-20 at my worst, so my body is a massive insecurity for me. My legs and bum are also ugly to me. All I can think about is how im missing out not having a maternity shoot, and how the hell I'm going to loose it afterwards.

Ugh 🙄

So my birthday is tomorrow. We already booked an Airbnb for two nights. I planned to go get some toys and have amazing sex. But now my period is on and ladies I'm so angry right now!!! My period comes on when it wants to and I was hoping it waited until after. I just needed to vent, I mean its not the end of the world but still. This shit sucks 😒💔💔💔

Breech at 35 weeks?

Hi ladies, hope you're okay x we've found at our midwife appointment that baby is breech. I just want to ask mums over 35 weeks whether your babies turned on their own at all? My midwife isn't too concerned, she believes baby has time to turn but I just want to know how people's experiences were with their own babies. Thank you x

how to stay sane and not overthink everything

how are we all dealing with not freaking out over everything and being constantly anxious?

i just had the ittiest bittiest discharge that was like faintly light pink, and i mean more light peach if anything, and it wasn’t runny or spotting and i haven’t had any cramping or otherwise. but im so freaked out? thankfully i have a scan on monday, but with how much is online it’s hard to not panic and catastrophize.

would love love love any tips ❤️
