Crying or content between feeds?!

My son is 6 days old. If I keep him tightly swaddled he's pretty happy all day between feeds. He HATES having his hands 🤷‍♀️ it is very weird.

At 10pm-2am he becomes very clingy and wants to be rocked too or he fusses.

FTM don't have a clue about anybody else's baby

My son cried 20 hrs a day for the first few months of his life. My daughter slept 20 hrs a day.

Newborns do tend to cry because they’re still getting used to the world it’s quite a lot for them to be around new sounds, smells and everything that comes with not being in the womb anymore 🥺 my daughter was a big crier and most of it was screaming 😭 but I would say if your mom instincts are kicking in and you feel something might be off it’s always good to call the health visitor if you feel something is wrong. If baby can be settled by feeding, rocking or holding them they might just want the extra comfort 🫶🏽 you’re doing great and trust your instincts 🙌🏽
