Painful periods

I've had a period for the past 9 months... STRAIGHT since my son was born I've been on my period. The cramping is so bad some days my husband has to take off work because they are equal to contractions. I've seen countless doctors. They all just tell me it'll stop eventually. I can't take it anymore. This can't be normal can it?

Maybe I don’t know I know I’ve read birth control could help

What type of birth control are you on???? Cuz mine did that 3 months straight after i had my daughter but it was my birth control and than it would come every other month it was the best period honestly but the pain was crucial it was like i was having another baby...i would cry all night long
