Gestational diabetes...cough drops?

Anyone had a cold with gestational diabetes? I have a really sore throat as well and its killing me... its hard enough to find stuff which is ok when pregnant but now I need to think about sugar content as well ahhh...I know, paracetamol....but it doesn't seem to help so far...any advice? tia x
