Hi Chantelle, I’ve done a few home insemination rounds and will do IUI next but without hormones for now (no reported infertility, just gay af :)). One thing I didn’t know was the insemination for my IUI will be done the day AFTER the ovulation test is positive. Less of an issue with the known donor, as fresh sperm lives in your body for a few days. Best of luck!

my wife and I are TTC... our donor is a friend and lives in Australia, so we actually may be flying there for insemination since at home attempts haven’t been successful. we are struggling with a LOT of barriers with having a known donor from another country... it’s been really hard, which is why we are now considering spending a lot of $$ to fly there and try.

We have a 1 year old and plan on restarting the journey for our next at the beginning of the year!

My wife and I have been married now 3 months and together for 7! We have been TTC for 9 Months. We have tried two different known donors and then we were sent to fertility. All my tests came back good, labs weren’t off, tubes weren’t blocked and make good quality eggs. We wanted to use our known donor sperm but our doctor For whatever reason pushed hard against that. So, against what we truly wanted to Do, we bought sperm from a sperm bank. We plan to try our first IUI first of January. While we are hopeful, we are almost To the point of exhaustion. From the stress, fear, sadness, anger and jealousy. It’s such a range of emotions. Good luck to anyone just starting this journey! It’s tough to say the least. Sending all the baby dust your way!

My fiancé and i did a home insemination with soft cups on the 9th and 11th of February my ovulation date was on the 14th.. i been feeling weird lately but maybe it is my period.. this is our first time trying hopefully i am pregnant i dont want to be negative but i been lately we did a pregnant test yesterday and today and it is negative

My wife and I have now got a 14 month old daughter after using a sperm donor - home insemination. All the donor wanted was a lottery lucky dip.....all in all to have our daughter, we paid £10. So lucky

We also did at home insemination. The donor did not want anything. I gave him a Tim hortons $20 gift card to get a replenishment. I now have a 3 year old daughter. Trying for a second one now
