Hi all my baby was born 5 weeks early. She is now 17 days old and is still in the nicu with a mrsa staph infection and swollen cheek that’s filled with fluid and she will need surgery. She already went under anesthesia to have surgery to have it drained once and may have to do that again but she will also need a big surgery to remove the cyst.

Hope everything will be okay. Those little once are the most strong once, they are fighters.
My son was born at 31 week and had a 6 hours long surgery at 8 days old to remove a tumor. He is fine now but I know it’s crazy hard, especially sitting in the Nicu. If you ever wants to talk please text or call. Stay strong mommy you got this

sending you all my love and prayers NICU is the hardest for any mom it’s so unnatural and trying physically and emotionally

My son was born at 29 weeks after my water broke at 19 weeks. He ended up being in the NICU for 75 days. He also had to have surgery (to repair a hernia). He did not handle the anesthesia very well. We almost lost him twice the night of his surgery. It was the worst feeling having to stand there and watch them trying to revive him and not being able to do anything. NICU babies are some of the strongest people there are. Stay strong Mama! Your little one knows you are there fighting for them.

My son was born at 34.5 weeks and had a 11 day stay. He'll be 2 in November. He had to work on feeding and regulating his breathing. I hope everything goes well and she will be able to go home soon :)
