Going it alone

Hi I’ve recently split with my husband (am 40) currently considering paying for a sperm doner through a fertility clinic and going it alone, anyone else ttc alone? Or had success with sperm donation?

You should follow the @singlemamasbychoicecommunity on instagram, it’s a great resource for single moms and TTC is something they discuss often. Good luck x

I’m currently going solo, 37. Feel like it’s now or never as I have further genetic complications.

My friend (@livsalone on Instagram) did this exact thing - never had a husband and just wanted a baby. She was 38 I think when she fell with little Herb 🌿 ❤️

I'm 40, too and trying to be single mom by choice I just did my first IUI with donor sperm on Sun! PM me so we can chat 😊

My friend also done this two years ago as she’s in a partnership with
Another woman and they had a healthy baby boy after the second try. Good luck.

I'll be 40 in April, my son is 4.5 months, and I am a never married single mother by choice via sperm donation. It took 21 cycles to become pregnant. I had 3 medicated (with injections) IUIs, 2 home inseminations, had to lose 35lbs to move forward to IVF with ICSI. I had 2 retrievals resultinf in only 2 PGS normal embryos. Despite ERA test my first transfer failed. After a bunch of bloodwork, some corrections and throwing everything at the 2nd transfer, i was successful and I'm holding him now as I type. I'm happy to answer any questions or just be a support.
