I've been waiting to have a baby for the last 15 plus years. I've had a conversation with my husband. We are both a bit older hes in his 40s and I'm late 30s. We are getting the testing done to see if the baby has down syndrome. I dont know what to do if its positive. Most of the down syndrome adults I know need assistance the rest of their lives. Since we are older I would hate something happen to us and our child be left without help. I know they are very special children. But I just keep thinking since we are older I wont be around to take care of them. Is this crazy?
