Just Heavy period cramps my a**

Sorry for this negative and possibly triggering rant below. I know I can get through this and I’m strong but I needed one place to admit I’m scared .I honestly feel it’s cruel that my OB left out that part or even possibility that I would go through this gut wrenching contractions, cramps, with trapped gas combo during my miscarriage. Like I was completely unprepared. No meds. My poor husband doesn’t know how to console me and I honestly don’t even know he could help( My Uterus contracts more when he tries to touch and rub me..poor guy) . The only position I feel a little break is on all fours bouncing around. Strange enough I just want to hug another woman who knows what this is like because just the physical pain alone is so lonely 💝

It’s labor. I had a miscarriage at 7 weeks in January and they said same thing. It’s labor. Your body is dilated to push out a healthy baby even if it’s really small. It’s still labor. I recently found that out from the doc. They say heavy periods so I doesn’t mess with your mind and shit. It sucks though. I’m sorry.

I’m so sorry that you’re going through this. I had 2 miscarriages back to back and the were horrible. Some doctors are better at giving meds than others. My 2nd time around, the dr gave me some meds to shorten the miscarriage length but it was HORRIBLE. I was the same so I just got on all 4s in a hot shower. I’m sending you hugs and prayers. If you need someone to listen I’m here

I just had one last Friday. It was terrible. My doctor didn’t even warn me it would be “heavy period pain”. I was crying, shaking, sweating, nauseous and felt like i was going to pass out. I took 1000mg Tylenol and 800mg ibuprofen and felt better about an hour later. Bleeding wasnt bad, only lasted 5 days and husband had no idea what to do. He definitely was not comforting, but tried to be supportive! It was awful! So so so sorry you’re going through this. As my friend told me, welcome to this awful club!!

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. Yeah, the “heavy period cramps” BS needs to stop. I felt like I was in active labor with my 6 week loss. I’m very thankful it happened while in the ER and not at home, though. I think it’s a disservice for doctors to describe it will be like heavy period cramps. The whole miscarriage process is scary enough as it is, I feel like they should definitely prepare us better to handle what happens to our bodies.

Worst pain of my life, then finally got good pain med from foreign doctor as I was living in Asia and they don’t give pain meds for miscarriage there!!!! But it still barely took the edge off. Then right when it passed the pain was instantly over. Hugs to you!!!! I felt the same way and couldn’t stop moaning, my husband couldn’t stand hearing me and not able to help.💔❤️
