Did you know you were pregnant with twins?
So this might be a dumb question but, did you know you were pregnant with twins before finding out? Was there anything that made you think you might be? Here are some reasons that make me think I might be. I got positive pregnancy test a week before my period was supposed to start. (I took one because I was having pregnancy symptoms) Morning sickness has been killing me ( I am only 6 weeks with my first pregnancy it didn't start until later on). And I feel like I'm already getting bigger and once again didn't happen in my first pregnancy until later. Not to mention my hormones are going through the rough. And twins run in my family. So I was just qurious when if anyone had an idea they were having multiples before seeing it on the ultrasound.

Everything that you said makes it seem to me that it’s just a normal second time pregnancy, although it could be twins. Especially since with the second pregnancy you show faster. BUT since twins run in your family I’d say you have a good chance of having twins... I’m jealous!
If twins run in the family then it’s worth having the ultrasound when able to find out as that can influence the pregnancy and give you the best healthcare options. However you don’t need to go overboard with tests if your health generally is good xx
The first few weeks I had myself convinced I was having twins bc my hcg levels were super high and I was soooo sick... but nope, just one 🤷♀️
I'm currently 17 weeks pregnant with modi twins and all my tests were negative until the day I was actually due on my period 🤷♀️. I had an increased sickness compared to my singleton pregnancy but I just put it down to maybe being a girl. I think there are just as many women who think they're carrying twins to find our they're not, as women who find out they are and visa versa. All I can say is twins are hard work and I am suffering every day and when they are born it will continue 😂
I had the exact same as you with my second pregnancy and twins run heavily in my family but no just one baby. Could be 1, could be 2 or baby even 3!
Thanks everyone. Like I said in a comment above I feel like its all in my head. I know every pregnancy is different. So I'm sure that's what I'm feeling! But I'm so thankful for this app to be able to reach out and ask silly questions without judgment.
