What’s your birth story?!
My daughter was born 1/9/2020. She just turned 5 months a couple days ago. She was 11 days late. I was due Dec 29th, expecting to have a late Christmas present or maybe a New Years baby, but I went in for my 41 week check and the said they needed to induce me. After 34 hours of trying to get my body to labor naturally ( I only had contractions when I was in pitocin) and being given everything imaginable to try help with either pain or to increase labor, I was still only 9cm and baby was stressed so we ended up having an emergency c-section. They practically had to pry her out of me, my little starfish was doing just that inside of me and didn’t want to come out lol. I ended up being in the hospital 6 days; 2 days for labor, 3 for the c-section, and 1 extra day in NICU since Harlow was taken there after her first day with me due to a minor complication from meconium in the lungs. But she came home beautiful and perfect and healthy! What’s your birth story?

Wow 2 days for labor you rock!!!! I’m glad she was okay and at the end you got a happy ending. On my my due date was Feb 9 but I had him January 24th due he wasn’t growing since November because I guess my placenta stop working. I was going to get induce but I didn’t want that since I know they usually take forever and the baby get stress out and than you end on a emergency C section and I had a very good pregnancy so I didn’t want to ruin that experiences by having a scary delivery so I told my doctor that I wanted a C Section and it was the best choice. He actually told me that he was happy with my choice because my placenta probably wouldn’t handle vaginal birth. My baby was supposed to be 3lbs he end been 4lbs and since he was bigger than expected they let him be with me and give him a chance before taking him to the NICU but thanks to that he prove he was healthy so he never went to the NICU and he stayed with me the whole time. My Noah was born via emergency csection on the 30th January due to low fluid and reduced movements
