Induction at 36 Weeks

Hello, at my 33 week growth scan I was told my little boy is under the 3rd percentile and that I have to be induced at 36 weeks via pessary.

This is my first baby and I’m absolutely terrified I’m just wondering if anyone can offer some advice or positive induction stories.

I have no idea what to expect! 😰

I would recommend the positive birth company online hypnobirthing course. It takes you through each scenario and teaches you how to stay calm and gives you the info to stay educated and make informed decisions. You also get access to their fb group which has LOTS of positive birthing stores.
Do you mean he’s little or big?

My baby was small too. Induction sounds scarier then it actually is. I read a lot of articles which I personally think made my anxiety worse. On the day of induction the only thing you will be thinking is how soon you will get to meet your babu

I was induced for the same reason but I was induced at 38 weeks. It was meant to be 37 but the hospital was so busy with christmas babies the induction que was so long 😂 you will be absolutely fine, they monitor you and baby from start to finish, they say contractions are more painful with pitocin, I wanted to go natural but after 9 hours I couldn't go any longer so I got the epidural, I was stuck at 3 cm for those 9 hours, after epidural 2-3 hours later I was at a ten. If they have to break your waters its uncomfortable but not painful. My labour was 16 hours but no complications and my little babe was small but all healthy 🙂
