Pain in breast!

Hey Mama’s! So my son is turning 1 next week and I’m still breastfeeding regularly. 2 days ago I noticed my right side of my right breast (armpit side) is very painful even when not being touched. My breasts are not engorged, red or hard. I’ve tried pumping in case my breast was still full but only a teeny tiny bit came out and then it stopped. It feels very lumpy around the area but obviously it will do due to me still breastfeeding. Have any of you experienced something similar?

I had something like this happen to me a few weeks ago. I was fine when I went to bed and woke up the next morning with awful pain in my left breast. It ended up being a clogged duct. My gyno told me to keep feeding like normal on that side and after about a week everything was back to normal. Tylenol helped with the pain but obviously if it gets worse get in touch with your doctor. I hope everything gets better and happy early birthday to your soon to be 1 year old! 💕

I had a clogged duct and needed to be put on antibiotics to get rid of it. Sometimes warm compress before feeding and icing following feedings can help/massaging it out in a hot shower...But I would call your doctor and make sure you don’t need antibiotics.
