Got my urine results back from the doctor and he said I have the beginnings of a uti. I have no symptoms so I thought.... but at night I literally have to pee every 2 hours but when I do, not a ton comes out. During the day I don’t have this issue. I still have to pee a lot but I thought from water.
I thought It was just pregnancy.
Any home remedies? She said drink cranberry juice.
Anything else I can try? I don’t want to get on antibiotics.

Just keep hydrated. Like water after water. It flushes it out

cranberry juice

I take D-mannose tablets which is the extract within cranberries that naturally prevents a UTI from taking hold (by making the area slippy so the bacteria can't hook in). If you use cranberry juice, you have to drink a LOT and also the juice is usually very sugary.
In any case, up your water intake which will help flush any bacteria out and if it gets worse, go for the antibiotics this time. UTI's can spread to your kidneys and be quite damaging. Hope you recover from it soon x

Aww bless you 💗 ...There are some pregnancy safe antibiotics such as amoxicillin- i know not ideal at all still but if cranberry juice or sachets don't work you dont want to let it get worse, as it can lead to problems with your kidneys! X

I had the same and the doctor insisted on antibiotics. They told me that taking the pills is less scary than what can come out from an under treated UTI. I took them and all is good now, just had to make sure to eat healthy foods and drank Kefir with live bacteria before going to bed. Currently 17 weeks, all is going well 😊
