100 Days of NICU and Max
100 Days. 100 Days of NICU, of tests and tubes. Of oxygen and medicine. Of doctors and nurses. I didn’t think we’d be here 100 days in, but we are. It’s hard at times to accept. But it also means we’ve had 100 days of loving you. Of holding you, seeing you smile. Of seeing your giant personality win over all your nurses, RT’s and anyone who meets you. Of rocking you to sleep and holding your tiny hand. We don’t know when you’ll be home, but we do know we’ve been so incredibly lucky to be your parents ❤️

Hang in there! Fellow preemie mama here, we were there for 105 long days and nights. I can’t promise it won’t always hurt, or you won’t always feel guilt or helplessness, I still cry often thinking back, but as they grow and amaze you, you’ll grow too ❤️

Having a nicu babe is so hard at times but now looking at my 16 year old it is crazy to think he was my smallest and most fragile babe. They said he would have compromised lungs.... he's a cross country runner competing in state right now. Hang in there mama

Awwwl 🤩 i was also a NICU mom my baby girl was born 1 month early so i know the pain & the endurance that you have to go through. Taking the time out to go to the hospital & leaving with out him. My baby girl is now 13 yrs old & doing fine. Just has asthma which i didn't expect her to have. But only affects her whenever the weather changes. i pray 🙏 in due time he will be home & happy with you guys. Continue to keep your head up hun 😉
