Small Cervix

Hi mommas. They just told me my cervix is too small for the amount of months I am and that I might have preterm labor. Has anyone had a small cervix but made it to 9 months! I'm really worried.

I do and I’m currently just about 31 weeks.

Do you mean a short cervix?

You need a cervical cerclage. Is it shorten?

I’d ask for a cerclage if you’re under 24 weeks, and progesterone. I had a preterm loss at 21 weeks with a 2.8 cervix last year. My rainbow cerclage baby is in my arms and 1 month old now, I got the cerclage at 16 weeks and had it removed and was induced at 39 weeks.
