Baby sleep

Cosleeping/Breastfeeding

Hey moms! 💛

I started cosleeping because of night breastfeeding—it honestly felt like the only way I could get any sleep. Now my baby girl is almost six months, and she won’t nap or sleep without nursing. I’ve tried a few things, even CIO for 5–10 minutes, but she just screamed the whole time, and I can’t do that.

I feel a little lost—there’s no real schedule, just nursing on demand, napping on demand with lots of contact, and cosleeping at night.

How did you all handle this stage? What worked for you? Any tips or routines that helped your baby start sleeping more independently?

Baby sleep

Waking up in the middle of the night

Is anyone else’s baby waking up in the middle of the night and staying up for like two hours until they go to sleep again? My baby has been waking up like a 3-4 am for the past couple nights and won’t go back to sleep until like 5-6 am, I’m exhausted. I’m thinking maybe she has been napping too much so I cut her daytime naps from 4 hours to 2 but she’s still waking up for no reason 😭😭😭🫠

Baby sleep

Anyone else??

I love holding my baby so much that it sucks that I have to put her down but she’s 21 lbs. and my feet and back just don’t let me sometimes. My hand falls asleep to. I have to hold her during day naps as well because it’s the only way she falls asleep. We’re slowly trying to stop by laying her down in her bassinet after 20-30 mins but the most time she’s stayed in there has been 2-3 hours max about 4,5 times. She mostly does 5 to 10 mins.

We cosleep and I have to latch her most of the time so she falls asleep or rock her. Rocking was our old normal but now it’s latching. The thing is that she won’t really latch during the day now either and at night she randomly wants so much more milk than what I can give her so if she doesn’t fall asleep on the boob, she arches when I try to rock her. I’m not doing the cry out method. Just want to know if anybody else is going through this.

also every little noise wakes her up
