To every mother who's been told "it takes a village," we know. The problem is, we live further from family and friends, more of our lives happen on a screen, and community is harder to come by, but more necessary than ever. In fact, 43% of mothers say it's what gives them the most hope for the future.

That's why Peanut and Coterie are launching The Village Fund, a six-figure commitment to helping mothers turn "we should really do something soon" into an actual plan. The coffee morning. The run club. The clothing swap. The girls’ dinner that’s been sitting in the group chat for six months. Even the babysitter to cover you.

Whatever brings you together, pitch it. If it's chosen, we'll cover the budget and send you everything you need to bring it to life, on your own terms.

Becoming a mom can make things that once felt so simple like leaving the house, meeting a friend for coffee, going somewhere new feel really daunting. I’ve found that the more I’ve gotten out of the house with my baby, the more my confidence has grown, and it’s made such a difference to how I feel. That’s why I’m so passionate about what Peanut and Coterie are doing with The Village Fund. Giving moms an actual reason, and the resources, to get together and build those relationships is such a simple idea, but one that can make a huge difference. I’m really excited to help more moms find their people and feel confident getting out into the world with their babies in tow.
