So my son just started grade 1, we changed schools this year and I noticed this teacher is a bit more “loosey goosey” anyway, for the past week… my son comes home with only his crackers and snacks eaten. He’s not eating his main portion of his lunch i.e. sandwich, pizza He comes home and complains his stomach hurts and yesterday he drank none of his water bottle or juice box and had a headache.

I took away his Roblox time but I feel so bad

How do y’all deal with your child not eating properly when at school?

I have a 6 year old girl and she still sucks her thumb we have tried everything brittle nail polish, lemon juice, hot sauce, one of those thumb guards absolutely nothing has worked I have been trying for 5 years to stop this every day. Her teeth are starting to shift. I’ve explained that she’s going to wreck her teeth that she’ll need braces and that braces are painful and she got pinworms last year so I told her she’ll get them again if she doesn’t try and stop. and absolutely nothing has changed. I even go into her room multiple times throughout the night to try and take it out of her mouth but she even in her sleep will pull her body to her hand as I’m pulling it away to keep it in her mouth.

I take care of a family off 9 thou I'm only 20 I'm exhausted and mentally drained. I recently lost my job and it's been hard. Been 3 days without food and the children is hungry. I need prayers mommies and miracles. I'm giving up here
