Hello moms, I want to celebrate my baby’s first birthday, but I do not have any friends here, some of my friends are in west coast, and some are in my native country.

I really want to celebrate his birthday in a park where I can put some decorations, get a big cake and want the other moms to attend the party. I know first birthdays are mostly for families and close friends, but my family is also not in US. And I do not want to cut his first birthday cake all alone with my husband.

Can you please give me some ideas on how to celebrate his birthday and invite some moms with their babies or toddlers.

Already worried about how I’m going to eat while postpartum because I typically am the one who cooks at home for my husband and I… was this a problem for other moms too or am I overthinking it?

Need to move with my family from LA what is best area in NYC? I heard Tribeca, UES, UWS? Where do you live? I’m lookinb for nice area, nice building, next to parks, shops, restaurants, where you can walk a lot.
