Mom Walk Collective-Vancouver??

I am newish to the Vancouver area and am really trying to put myself out there more to meet moms & I came across this on Instagram! Has anyone been to these walks?? Is it awkward?? I love to walk and I figure it would be good for me to experience more of Vancouver but I’m so nervous about it all.

Postpartum mental health

PPD

I think im like really far into it.. like i feel like i was asking for help but now im so out of it i can’t actually explain, concentrate, I don’t feel real but i feel like its just me and this baby but my body aches so bad i feel like its like always in the same positions where im hunched over or curved to cradle the baby.. i have like 0 alone time.. i have no idea who i am anymore not that i knew before but i had a good idea and a better grip on who i was and i had hobbies, friends, i did shit I had my own motion. I was somebody.. but now im inside. Hours away from my family. No friends, hsdo, im a sahm, and my babies dad works all day. Even on his off days. I realized I can’t not be okay so I’ve just pushed my physical and mental pain away and im runny on adrenaline atp.. I don’t have a village and im trying so hard to be okay and smile but im in so much pain in every way im not happy at all and i wish things could be so much different.

Tummy time?

My baby is almost 3months but she absolutely hates tummy time and screams at the top of her lungs and cries it breaks my heart so I only let her do it for 5-10 minutes I start her on her back cause she also doesn’t care to be on her back she’s more okay with it than her tummy though. She loves being on her sides and sitting or standing with help as she can’t do it herself. She can hold her head up well but her leg and arm muscles don’t seem to be that strong or she doesn’t have control of them yet.

Help finding local support for neurodivergent daughter(4 yo)

Hi all just throwing out a message into the ether. I’ve been trying to find support groups/parent groups for autistic kids near me. It’s been tough! I’ve found a couple but they are during the week and in person and we’re already stretched thin as it is( just me and the hubby). Any advise is greatly appreciated!
