Early pregnancy symptoms

Perianal crohns (it's all fun and games!)

Hey folks, quick question : Does anyone else have perianal crohns? I get fissures, fistulas, a stricture, and I have significant scaring down there, I was just wondering if anyone else with these symptoms is planning on giving bith vaginally or if you're having a c section? I'm going to my gastro specialist in February and I'm hoping to hear about other people's experiences and plans so I can go in fully armed with the facts because this doctor is a bit of a bum hole 🙃 long story short I moved to the area from my original team who were fab, to my current one, who at first didn't believe I had crohns refused to reinstate my infliximab in this county and then was shocked when I started developing abscesses again 🤷‍♀️ anyway funnily enough, im back on infliximab now... I mean who'd think a person with a diagnosis of perianal crohns would have perianal crohns 🫠 anyway I digress, my second question was if anyone who on here who has perianal crohns has given birth naturally has had any issues healing up after tears ect and how it's affected your condition going forwards?

Thanks for your time and support, and I hope you all have a lovely evening x

C-section

Crohn’s disease, fistulas and giving birth

I just wondered if anyone on here has given birth naturally with fistulas? With my first pregnancy I had Crohn’s disease but no fistulas and gave birth naturally but with this pregnancy I have been offered a C section due to having complex fistulas with my Crohn’s disease No one seems to want to recommend which I should go with so I just wondered if anyone had experienced this? I am booked in for a C section in August but they have advised I can change this if I wanted to Thank you
