SAHM/WAHM

Please comment options and opinions! My husband has just had a promotion and we’re able to finally start saving money. We want to make sure our kids have a good start to their adulthood but not sure whether to a) put money consistently in their accounts for them to access at a certain age, or b) keep the money in our “war chest” so when they want to do big things like buy a car, they have to put some of their own money (weekend job, birthday money etc.) and we can decide how much we’d contribute. I grew up with option b but my parents were emotionally immature so this has left a lasting impact on feeling like I was being policed on things I wanted to do, a pattern I’m trying to break with my own children. My husband didn’t grow up with any money so doesn’t have an opinion - any advice on how to help him develop one would also be appreciated!

Hi moms! I’m a full time SAHM (which i absolutely love!) and I’m wanting a perspective on your partners hours weekly. My husband works from 5 am to 6 pm, anyone else? Is this pretty normal for a SAHM? Just wanting a perspective on everyone else’s situation!!

When I first gave birth in September I had a very steady job and then the day before thanksgiving they decided to let their remote workers know they were closing office and they led me on saying they would find something for me to do until mid-January.

I’ve been looking for anyway to make an income, apps but most are scams, remote work on ZipRecruiter for my preferred industry, ive even gone to breakfast restaurants in my area and coffee shops seeing if they need openers during the week.

I haven’t heard back at all, this has been ongoing since I lost my job. I’m trying to do everything I can. I’m a SAHM of a 6month old. I’m the only one who actually takes care of him except for Tuesday and Thursday mornings until around 12 PM Eastern time, usually his aunt takes him just so I can get things done around the house at this point.

After I went home from giving birth I had a rash all over my body and I'm pretty sure it's not allergies but I've tried benadryl and hydrocortisone and stuff and it won't go away. What should I do?

My maternity leave ends the end of this month and I do not want to return because it’s too soon as well as I don’t want to put my babygirl in a daycare. Any suggestions on jobs I can do from home? I am a special education teacher and have lots of experience with kids as well as customer service
