Baby Eczema and Allergies UK

Does anyone have any advice or what to use to prevent eczema flares?

LO has severe wide spread eczema. Dermatologist keeps giving stronger steroids and steroids only work when using, as soon as I go down to twice a week the skin flares back up and peels all over.

I have tried drought secret, balmonds etc. I’m lost. Absolutely drained and can’t cope with the constant itching and sleepless nights for nearly 6 months now. Any advice that could help please 😭 I can’t cope anymore

Need abit of advice! My daughter is eight months old and suffers with eczema all across her body and with the obvious high temperatures my daughter is not sleeping at all because she is so flared up. No matter how many times i’m moisturise her or put hydrocortisone on her elbows and knees she is still very unsettled. The doctor said to give her prescribed Antihistamine which I have and that don’t seem to work in slightest. I’ve booked another GP appointment due to the severity that it is now. Is there anything that I can do for the time being? I’ve got all windows and doors open as well as cooling fans and just nothing seems to help. And on top of that, she’s getting agitated because she’s not sleeping.

Does anyone have any recommendations for eczema pjs for a 2YO? Trying to find 2 piece rather than sleep suit style

My little girl (2 years) is dealing with yet another eczema flare up. We have been to the doctors today and been prescribed a steroid for her body, hydrocortisone for her face and have an antibacterial soap substitute alongside her usual zerobase & zeroderm that we already have to use daily.

Has anyone been able to get to the bottom of what's causing the eczema and flare ups? The lady we saw didnt really even look at her skin and openly advised me she doesn't really know what to suggest as its not her area of expertise. So she did a referral to the allergy team at our local hospital but I have no idea how long the waiting list is or what they can do for her so wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction while we wait. Happy to go private if anyone has any recommendations
