Breastfeeding & Eczema

Baby girl is 4 months old and is exclusively breastfed, she has severe eczema over her whole body. I still can’t figure what causes flare ups. Have cut out gluten, dairy and eggs for three weeks now but don’t see a big difference (I know that it can take longer to see results). I have been giving her Hannah Sillitoe probiotics for 5 days.

Has anyone out there had a positive experience with breastfeeding and cutting out allergens? If so, what did you cut out and how long till you saw results?

GP says that there’s no point in allergy testing till we start introducing solids, does anyone have experience with allergy testing under 6 months?

Any advice would be appreciated ❤️

Eczema 4 month old

My 4.5-month-old has eczema that seems to be spreading across his upper body. It first started on his wrist and neck. We’ve seen four different GPs, and they all believe it’s environmental. He was prescribed hydrocortisone 1% and clotrimazole. The rash improved and then comes back even with hydrocortisone. We’ve been using hydrocortisone for almost five weeks now, and I’m not comfortable continuing it long term.

Has anyone experienced something similar with their baby? What worked for you? I’d really appreciate any advice or insight.
