First trimester worries

Gestational diabetes

On Monday I went to MaU because I’d had a headache since Saturday (which still hasn’t gone) and my hands and feet had swollen.. all checks came back fine, blood pressure, urine and blood tests.. I needed repeat blood pressure and urine samples Wednesday and Friday this week. Yesterday I had a midwife appointment anyway and there was a trace of protein.. blood pressure fine. Today there’s +2 glucose in the sample no protein.. and my blood pressure is fine… Tomorrow I have to go for a fasting blood test to see if I have gestational diabetes. I’m 36+2 now.. With my first it was caught at 37 weeks but I had no symptoms other than extra fluid around baby following a growth scan I had had.

Anyone else experienced headaches with gestational diabetes?!

GD and Insulin

Do any of you feel like your not being listened to. I have GD again and I’m on 22 units of insulin because my levels aren’t coming down in the morning, but this is messing up the afternoon ones and I’m having so many hypos, is anyone else experiencing this and think they are on too much insulin?

30 weeks gestational diabetes

Hi I’ve just found out I have the gestational diabetes and have no idea what to expect for the rest of my pregnancy. I’m currently 30 weeks today and panicking a little bit if anyone can give me any advice on what to expect I’d appreciate it ☺️

Childbirth

35 week scan

I have a scan tomorrow at 35 weeks to find out babies size and if I need to be induced or a c section due to having GD.

What size was everyone’s little one weighing at 35 weeks?

My baby was already on the 97th centile so abit worried to see the size tomorrow😅
