Baby care
Currently 34 weeks. Would it help my birth/labor to go see a pelvic floor therapist for a couple weeks? Would love to hear peoples experiences with one. It intimidates me lol

Pregnancy care
So my plan was to have a non medicated birth but I just found out I'm B strep positive and have a ton of questions about it but my Ob office is closed for the weekend and I've been crying for about 2 hours.... I really didn't want to be hook to absolutely anything. I want to be free from everything. My major question is, am I hooked to an IV the whole time, or am I given the antibiotics and then done? Or is it given once I'm in transition? I'm extremely sad about this honestly. I know it's not my fault but I feel my plans have to be completely different now...

Childbirth
Hello! I am having my first baby in April and I am planning to do a water birth (God willing!) but I definitely feel unprepared. Due to money and just believing my husband and I can do it without a doula, is there anything else I need to do to prepare for birth?
Or anyone have any tips on podcasts, videos, etc?

Hi ! I'm 32 weeks pregnant with my first baby and I am rooting for a natural birth. The hospital is the easiest option for us. + No doula is available in our region. Anyone in the same scenario ? Also, is your partner 100% on board with you ? I know my partner trusts me and knows I spent weeks looking for the best way to do this, but I'm pretty sure if it comes to listening to health professionals or my instincts, he'll give the medical team the green light.

I’m due with my second and just do noooot want to deliver in a hospital. My first was kind of traumatic (super sucky LD nurse) and I really want to do something different. I found a birthing center that I LOVE, but it’s out of network for my insurance. We’d have to pay double out of pocket, even tho the overall costs are half 🥲 jw if anyone else ran into this and if they were able to squeeze more out of their insurance.
