Recent diagnosis

I got diagnosed with epilepsy a day after I had my son September 29th 2024. I am having a hard time accepting and trying to learn how to keep everyone safe. I recently have had to be home alone for the first time and I am struggling.

I won't see a doctor until next week (9 weeks pregnant)

I have been dying to see a doctor since I got pregnant. I haven't seen my neurologist or my midwife NP. I see the NP next week, but I'm worried all she's going to say is I need to see a OB instead or in addition to and I won't get any information I need. I feel so in the dark and thought I was having a "planned pregnancy," but am feeling like I didn't plan anything at all. What should I be doing? I've had 3 absance siezures at least since getting pregnant, but I'm home alone all of the time so it could be more and I just don't know. I don't get auras or whatever. I just have this gut feeling I'm going to lose this child.

medicine and pregnancy

has anyone else had trouble with their medicine staying at a certain level? i literally had to up my dosage multiple times and it sucks having to get used to it. over and over again. i’ve had 5 seizures during my whole pregnancy as well and before that my seizures were pretty well under control. i’m just hoping birth goes well and postpartum. 😣

Making friends

Anyone else hate not being able to just meet up with other mamas on here?

Everyone wants to meet up at a playground or something and you have to get dropped off by someone else. Sucks so much. 😔

Expecting Dosage

So, either my first baby, my Dr bumped me up quite a bit during my pregnancy and had me doing monthly blood draws to check my levels again... my Dr seems like she doesn't know what she's doing, so now that I've had my annual and am apparently expecting again, I'm going to try and find a new neurologist (wish me luck. All the ones around me are sleep drs)
Did anyone else have to do monthly blood draws or increase your dosage while you were pregnant?
