medicine and pregnancy

has anyone else had trouble with their medicine staying at a certain level? i literally had to up my dosage multiple times and it sucks having to get used to it. over and over again. i’ve had 5 seizures during my whole pregnancy as well and before that my seizures were pretty well under control. i’m just hoping birth goes well and postpartum. 😣

I did yes, I did drug levels monthly and it was upped quite frequently as one became much lower. With my daughter I had 7 seizures and weirdly with my son I had none! Do you know what gender your baby is? The hormone levels really mess with your system 😣 hopefully it will be better after!

i’m having a little girl! i’m due in Jan and it’s coming up so fast. i’m hoping after everything, everything settles down. i want the best for her. i just hate when i do have seizures, she feels them and i hate that feeling that she has to go through that 😞

I had my meds raised when I was pregnant only had one seizure while pregnant. Tip is ask your obgyn for baby aspirin along with more frequent visits and ask the neurologist for frequent lab work. Also getting steroid shot can help the babies lung growth if needed. It is recommended for the epidural to help some and to ask to play music or something that helps you remain calm during labor and birth. Those are things I experienced.
