C-Section Mamas in Recovery & Having Treatment/Surgery

Hi mamas! 😊👋🏽
I created this group because I struggled to and am still struggling to find good advice or mothers experiencing something similar to me.
It's for those who are still in recovery/having treatment following traumatic c-section birth experiences❤️‍🩹

I have been suffering from chronic pains since my c-section with my son almost 5 years ago (July 2019). I had complications and needed an emergency c-section, and I've been on pain medication for nerve damage for 3 years now🥹🙃

I'd be lying if I said it hasn't been an extremely difficult journey without an end in sight🫠 but I can say that I have chosen not to let it be the end of my story!✍️🏾❤️‍🩹💪🏾
I hardly ever have new years resolutions, but this year, one of my most important resolutions has been that if I can't change my situation, I have to change the way that it affects me - especially now more than ever because my not-so-little pumpkin has this new superpower called autism🦸🏾‍♂️
But just like every other human, sometimes I fold and end up curling up in my blanket - and that's okay💁🏾‍♀️💯

I can't imagine how difficult the journey has been for all of you amazing supermamas out there, so I really appreciate all of the support, help and tlc that you give to me and everyone else that passes through this group🫂
Thank you for sharing your experiences, stories, comments, and advice, as it helps me just as much as other mamas💞

My golden rule is to be kind✨️ If you don't have something nice to say - unless it's constructive criticism or a different way of doing something, don't say anything at all.

I am happy for others to promote their groups, provided they are relevant to the cause, helpful, and supportive.
⚠️Any group promotions that do not follow the above will be removed.
⚠️Any negative or abusive comments/posts will be reported and removed.

At the end of the day, we're all here in the same boat🚣🏾‍♀️ trying to help each other along this walk called motherhood🫄🏾❤

Pregnancy after c-section

Hello ladies I’m currently 3 month postpartum and I had an emergency c-section with my little boy. I’ve just found out I’m pregnant again and just wondering how everyone’s else’s pregnancy went for anyone who went through the same or similar I’m just so worried just looking for a little reassurance x ( I weren’t planning to have anymore so I am very shocked and now sure how I feel )

6 months post c section

Hello! More just a post to find out if anyone’s in the same boat and if there is an end in sight! I had an elected section just over 6 months ago. I had a lot of family trauma, and a lot of stress in my family life, but the worst was unfortunately the same time I was giving birth which I know doesn’t help matters. I was in a lot of pain for around 2 months, then my doctor finally agreed to refer me for an internal scan just to make sure there were no foreign objects left inside, which there isn’t. 6 months on and I’m very sore whenever touching my tummy and when not touching I have a dull ache. The main pain is between the scar and belly button. I have a very physical job and I go back to work in around 2 months or so. I know it’s only 6 months PP however everything online says I should be feeling somewhat ‘okay’ after 6 weeks. I’ve had the scar checked many times and no one is worried, and I’ve got no worrying lumps or bumps around the area. I just want to feel better but it’s just causing me a lot of anxiety thinking that something more sinister could be wrong but every other medical professional just say the whole ‘you’ve had major surgery’ or ‘it’s probably just nerve damage’. It’s effecting me daily and I’m not sure how much longer I can take the constant pain and aches.

C - section stitch not dissolved

Hi all,

So I am almost 6 weeks post c section. My third. I have noticed this evening that I had a bit of stitch remaining at the corner of my scar. After some googling I decided to try pulling it out, however it is quite long. I thought it would just pull right out but the thread just kept getting longer and I ended up wimping out. I’m seeing the health visitor tomorrow but it’s got me a bit freaked out.

Anyone ever had this happen to them? Do I keep pulling? 😂

Scar healing - possible TW

Hi all! I am 18 days pp after a c section with my first baby. I have noticed today that I have some clear liquid seeping from a corner of my wound.

It doesn’t smell and it’s only very little. Should I be concerned?
