Pregnancy symptoms

Bad flare 3rd trimester

Hi, I’m 32w pregnant and experiencing a bad UC flare, I spent all of last week admitted to hospital & was given IV steroids. I’ve been discharged now & back on oral steroids but I’m still highly symptomatic. I’m still going 15-20 times a day and it’s worse throughout the night. The consultant said they can see the drugs are starting to work but that I might just continue being highly symptomatic whilst pregnant. Has anyone else experienced this issue before? I am finding it really unsustainable to cope with. This is my second pregnancy; I flared more frequently during my last pregnancy but the oral steroids always worked well but this time my symptoms don’t seem to be reducing. Not sure how to cope with the symptoms of another 8 weeks of this. Has anyone else been told to cope with a prolonged period of symptoms before?

Pregnancy Week by Week: Second Trimester

Advise..

I wondering if any one could give me alittle advise, I’m currently 9 weeks pregnant and already been told I’m under a specialist team because of my ulcerative Colitis and will meet with the team when I’m 12 weeks 5 days so still a few weeks to go. I’ve been in remission since the end of 2023 I don’t no longer take any medication for my UC and haven’t done since 2023. I’m just wondering if anyone could help me with knowing what I should be expecting I feel myself worrying about it and can’t seem to find anything anywhere Thank you

Postpartum Flare?

I have UC and I am 4 weeks postpartum experiencing diarrhea and stomach cramps but no bleeding. I’m terrified that it’s my UC flaring up, but I’ve only had a flare up once. I was diagnosed in 2022 and went into remission before getting pregnant in 2023. I know the stomach pains feel like it did when I flared, but I’m not bleeding in the bathroom like I did previously. Maybe it’s a stomach bug? But I’m curious what some of your experiences were postpartum.
