C-Section advice and insight

Hi everyone!

I’m currently in my second pregnancy and have chosen the Whittington Hospital, as I recently moved to Finchley. My first birth experience was at Homerton, which was very positive overall, even though it ended with an emergency C-section. This time, I have a planned C-section, but I’m particularly concerned about the scar, as I’ve been told they don’t use glue.

Has anyone had experience with this at Whittington and could share some advice?

I’ve been sleeping upright on my back (moving down during the night props) but I think I’d be more comfy on my side now but I’m scared, when did everyone start sleeping on there side?

I had my C-section on Friday was my 2nd (I can’t remember when I did with my first)

So I had a c section with my first baby and Monday I will be 8 weeks pregnant, so 2 months. This means I fell pregnant when my LG was just 5 months old. Has anyone else gotten pregnant so quickly after having a section and were there any complications because of this?

Hi girls I have an infected incision the hospital given me antibiotics & have told me to use antiseptic to clean it…..

but I’m reading online not too as it can damage the skin ? & mess up healing. Would like a second opinion as not sure if the doctor was right. Thank you
