Molar Pregnancy & Gestational Trophoblastic Disease

I created this group for moms who have gone through or are going through a molar pregnancy or any form of Gestational Trophoblastic Disease. It can be incredibly lonely, scary, and heartbreaking, and having others to talk to with similar experiences is so important. Because molar pregnancies have different implications and follow ups, and because of the rarity of this, I felt it was important for us to have a place to ask questions and grieve with others who understand.

Possible Partial molar pregnancy

D&C is on Thursday, then is the wait for the test results. Midwife today said she was 50:50 based off scan alone, so it's all so up in the air. Just posting incase anyone else is going through this same thing.

Molar Pregnancy HELP ME!

I came home from work tonight to a chunky letter and had the absolute shock of my life to read about my molar pregnancy diagnosis. Numerous bits of paper, information leaflets and urine sample collection bottles etc. I have been completely blind sided by this because my missed miscarriage was the beginning of October last year, so around 8 months ago and im only just hearing this news now. Because I got the letter after work the office was shut so I couldn't ring for advice but its obvs driving me crazy! I am currently 26 weeks pregnant with a rainbow baby but upon trying to research online i can't quite tell whether there could still be bad news for me in terms of anything lingering...I got pregnant very quickly after the last miscarriage so no idea! Any help would be appreciated

Pregnancy after molar pregnancy

Hiya! Has anybody had another pregnancy before they even had their HCG levels checked?

I had a miscarriage in march, 5 weeks later I found out I had a molar pregnancy. I have a scan later this week as I think I’m pregnant again. Wondering if anyone else experienced the same?

Early Scan - referred to EPU for Partial Molar

I don't think I realized the severity of this at the scanning office today. I am in shock reading about partial molars. They said my placenta looked big and my fetus - while it had a heartbeat - was measuring 6wk3days when I should be 7wks. They referred me the the EPU for blood test. Is there any hope for the baby? Or is this most likely it? The process of a partial molar looks so long and complicated 😔

Is anyone going through this now? Or still have levels checked? I have just been diagnosed with it so a long journey ahead and wondered if there was anyone at around the same stage so there’s someone to talk to.
