I’ve been tracking my cycle and thought I had ovulated so started taking progesterone 4dpo and then just had another LH peak? Does anyone know if the progesterone could cause this?

Hiya I’m 8+4 by period had a scan today and I’ve been put back to 7+3, today is my first day taking progesterone at 400mg I’m a bit confused on how this works the doctor didn’t really tell me a lot on what to do, all she said was take one in the morning and Evening, so I have a few questions; Can I take the pessary before I go to bed? If I put it as far up as I can if it’s not far enough will my body still absorb it? Did anyone have any symptoms on it? Do I take it at the same time In the morning as I did at night so it’s a full 12 hours? Please can someone help a girl out as I don’t want to do it wrong thank you 🩷🩷🩷
