Please Help

Hi lovely mums 🤍 I’m 23 weeks pregnant and have recently been diagnosed with PUPPP. I’ve had eczema in the past, but this feels completely different I’m so itchy, sore, achy and especially struggling at night.

I’ve tried antihistamines, emollients and have just started using tar soap, but I’m feeling really impatient and uncomfortable and could do with some reassurance.

If you’ve had PUPPP: • What actually helped you? • Anything that eased the itching at night? • Did it settle on its own or did you need prescriptions?

I know everyone’s different, but I’d really appreciate hearing what worked (or didn’t) for you 🤍 Thank you so much.

I’m 37 weeks pregnant and had PUPPPs now for about 10 days, my whole body is covered! It’s red, itchy and I can’t sleep! How long after delivery did your PUPPPs go? This is just one of my legs

PUPPP 2nd time around

Hi! I had hoped I'd not need to be here but... PUPPP is back.

I had a very severe case in my first pregnancy. NOTHING made it go away, including giving birth! I had it 6mos pp and I only had some relief with a bit of dandelion root. It spread to my entire body within a few days. It was DEBILITATING. I had to stop breastfeeding to make it go away. Birth didn't cure it, topicals didn't cure it, and it spread quickly and ferociously.

Anyway, they say you aren't likely to get it again, but here I am. I had a feeling I wouldn't be lucky enough to avoid it because literally everything my doctor and Google ever told me about PUPPP ended up being WRONG.

If you had a SEVERE case of PUPPP, lmk what worked for you. If it's calamine, antihistamines, oatmeal baths, Benedryl cooling lotion etc., save it. I need aggressive therapy.

Skin conditions

So itchy!!

Started itching lower belly, community midwife said it was due to stretching. Last 2 days it’s spread to legs and feet and I’ve had a rash come up. Had blood tests at hospital and confirmed it’s nothing serious Just told me to take loratadine or piriton but it’s not helping!! Only thing that helps for short time is cold compress. Anything else that helps???

Hello 🫶🏼

I had polymorphic eruption of pregnancy with my first daughter around 20 weeks I’ve currently come up with this. It started under my boobs and top of my belly but my arm is by far the worst. It’s so itchy but I’m only 17 weeks this time. I understand it can come in the second trimester but more common in the third so I’m wondering is it the same thing or heat rash. I’m gunna make an appointment at the doctors tomorrow but wondering is there anything I can do to make it more comfortable?
