Baby sleep

Taking over an hour to fall asleep

I hold my little boy to sleep because he never wants me to put him down in his bed awake.

However, it seems like he just wants to take longer and longer to fall asleep the older he gets. It's currently taking an hour +. He just fidgets talks throws his comforter around etc until he eventually decides to chill and go to sleep.

We have tried putting him in his bed and it's sitting on the sofa opposite, but all he does is stand and roam around the entire cot.

People say it's a sleep regression, but that means he's been in one since he was 6 months old. We have waited until he is tired, that doesn't work. His naps are sometimes short and long, which makes no difference. We have tried earlier and later bedtime, that doesn't work. It's as if we can never find that right time to get him to sleep quickly like he used to when he was tiny.

He just goes hyper before sleeping, we do calm time and it makes no difference. If we waited until his eyes were dropping from being tired, he would be up all night! And then the over tiredness kicks in with multiple wakes.

We have tried sleep training and all he does is protest.

I am at the end of my tether I don't know what to do.

Sleeping training at 11 months

Has anyone managed to sleep train their baby at a later age I e 11 months when they can crawl and pull themselves up? How are you meant to train them to fall asleep on their own when all they want to do is crawl and stand up at the edge of the cot waiting for you to pick them up?? At no point does he want to lie down and think, oh I'm tired now let's try and sleep..

Baby sleep

11 month old waking up constantly/feeding for comforr

Our lovely girl has been a terrible sleeper since around 5 months. Before that she did decent stretches. On a bad night, shesleeps for 2 hours then wakes every hour, only going back to sleep after conforted by boob and falling asleep feeding. On a good night, we get a couple/few hours between wake ups. I’m sure feeding to sleep has created a habit and undure how to gently change things. I’m exhausted! Any advice? She eAts lots of solids/lots of breast milk so not hungry

Reflux

I think my 3 week old is suffering from reflux. After every feed (breastfed with some formula) she is really uncomfortable and vomits. Any advice on how to best handle this/ ease her discomfort? If I move to 100% formula are there any specific ones best for managing reflux? And any brand of bottles that are best?
