July 2022 Babies

I’ve been trying to get my son to use the potty since 18 months old he will be Turing 3 soon and be starting nursery and I just want him trained but he’s absolutely petrified of Weeing anywhere but his nappy. As soon as his nappy is off he’s begging for it back on he will start getting really upset if I try leave it off, I did bribe him on the potty once and he held his wee for ages until he couldn’t no more and when it started coming out he was crying saying oh no it’s coming out. He’s basically scared of weeing unless it’s in his nappy, I just don’t know what to do anymore I feel like I’ve tried everything!

Is anyone else having issues getting your 2 year old to eat? Ivy will literally eat like 3 things and sometimes she won’t even eat that! I get nervous because she’s skinny. I know she eats at least something in a day which a doctor told me a while back that as long as she’s eating something she’s not going to waste away 😳😓. I’ve thought about trying to give her pediasure or if that’s not good for babies something like it to give her some vitamins and calories. Has anyone tried this or an alternative to it?

Our almost 2 year old has been hitting her 3 year old brother a lot lately. She hasn’t responded well to taking a short break (she smiles at us) we have tried showing her gentle touch and praising her for it. Also she has a lot of words so can communicate her feelings. Any tips or tricks to help us?! Thanks

My daughter will be 2 in July. I was thinking of doing “Oh Twodles” as a theme 🤣 has anybody done this? What did you do you food?

I was thinking of bowtie pasta and call it “minnies bowtie pasta” but i see it made as pasta salad on Pinterest but id prob make it hot with marinara sauce.

I was also thinking of a “hot diggity dog bar” and grilling a bunch of hotdogs beforehand and leaving condiments out for people to help themself.

But i was also thinking of getting a bunch of subs and cutting them into thirds, or making them myself and calling them “Minnie sandwhiches”

Are these weird to have? I dont want to go crazy but i want to make sure i have something people will actually want to eat.

Then ill have some snacks on the side with other corny names and cant forget the utensils, “mouse-ka-tools” 🤣

Is anyone else's 19 month old hardly talking? I'm getting so worried now!! My son understands everything we say to him, but he only says mama, dada, nana, woof woof, no, and my cats name, which is leo, but he doesn't say it clearly. Is this worrying for his age? He started walking at 9 months and has been early with all milestones except talking. He is very clever and into absolutely everything, I have no other worries. So is this normal? Still not talking
