Queen Charlotte's and Chelsea Hospital

Hi ladies , I'm currently 24weeks and I'm still with different hospital but I'm strongly considering moving to either queen Charlotte or Chelsea and Westminster. Could you tell me what were the reasons for you to go with queen Charlotte maternity?

Hi everyone. I'm due in a few months and trying to decide between the labour ward and the birthing center.

I would love a water birth (it's our first) but I guess I'm a little worried about the birthing center due to the lack of doctors / equipment if there's an emergency.

Has anyone had any experience of either the labour ward or birthing center and could you share your experience? Thanks so much!

Hi. Does anyone know if Queen Charlotte's will do any additional scans if you are worried about fetal movement etc and how to get this? I went to the day assessment unit the other day and they checked using a doppler but I was really hoping for a scan to check things. I'm too far along to be seen at the EPU. - 25w. Thanks

Hiya, does anyone know if you see the same midwife at QCHH for all your antenatal appointments? I've just had my second midwife appointment with the same midwife and really don't like her. I've got quite a complicated medical history and was really rude in my first appointment and everything was so rushed. I thought I'd give her the benefit of doubt and see how today's weng but it was even worse. I'm not sure if I can request a midwife change/ who you speak to about that? I've heard that at some hospitals you often get different midwives at different appointments so if that's the case, maybe it's just bad luck I've had the same person twice 😖 Don't know what to do.
