Hello ladies! I’m due to have my first baby at Kings College hospital later this year and have some questions about labour, birth & how much it will cost, and what the system includes.
I’m under my hubbys insurance - Cigna Nueron.
Can anyone help answer any of the following?
- are antenatal classes offered ahead of the birth?
- does the hospital (or any provider) offer a mums support group like they do in the UK?
- How many days stay do I expect after the baby arrives?
- Does the stay include access to a lactation consultant?
- is all pain relief included under insurance?
- are there any hidden cost to consider?
I feel pretty clueless and like we’re going into it blind! 🙈 any information would be super useful!
