Moms who have had a Hysterectomy

Has anyone bruised extremely bad after having a hysterectomy?

So, I have a cancer causing gene mutation that runs in my family. I found out 4 months after giving birth. I made the very hard decision to get a hysterectomy and not have any more children. I have an almost 1 year old and an almost 4 year old step daughter. As sad as it makes me to not be able to have any more kids I know it's for the best. I can't in good faith have another child and potentially pass down this mutation to them. Mamas who had a hysterectomy young, please tell me your story ♥️

Hi all, my docs have given me varying guidelines on when I can lift my baby. One said 4 weeks, 1 said 6. Realistically, when were you able to lift your child after hysterectomy?

I had a hysterectomy and kept my only ovary on the 27th of August. Since then my hair has become coarse and is falling out at a alarming rate for me. Did anyone else deal with hairloss? Does anyone have some suggestions for supplements for it?.

Has anyone had bleeding when they had sex the first time after a c-section hysterectomy? Also, I’m very dry down there. They removed my cervix, but kept one ovary.
